Mission Statement

My goal is to provide private coaching for surfers who are looking to take the next step in their surfing.  My coaching ranges from progressing with your technique out of the beginner stage, transitioning to short board, and intermediate level looking to prepare for competition.  I coach in various breaks around south Orange County or San Clemente. There is nothing like surfing your first wave, however learning new skills aided with media assessment and focus on how body movement affects maneuvers and outcome elevates the experience to a higher level. I have a passion for surfing and helping individuals although at the end of the day it should always be fun and enjoyable experience.

Background

Hello my name is Jack, I work in the education field with CAPOUSD and I have surfed over twenty years competing throughout my schools years in San Clemente. I have had success competing as a youth with my biggest achievement during the NSSA nationals placing 4th in 2001. I am fingerprinted through the state and federal government and i am CPR/life guard certified and have EMT experience. I like to use my knowledge and abilities to give back to dedicated surfers.  As a certified ISA surf judge I am well versed on what requirements are needed to propel surfing abilities and improve heat scores suited for your current level.
